Why volunteer? People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

Project Vintgar consists of activities covering cultural and professional topics which foster the personal growth of every individual. Project Vintgar addresses two main issues that young women in Slovenia deal with: finding safe, quality, and affordable residences while completing their studies, and promoting a respectful attitude towards others thus enhancing one’s social skills. Vintgar not only provides accommodations, but also serves as a place where women of all generations, races, education, social status and political convictions can participate in academic, social, and service activities.
