“Family Enrichment in Slovenia” in association with IFFD

The primary mission of Family Enrichment is to provide parents with the tools they need to reach their full potential as educators of their children, and to develop their very own personal and family plan.

IFFD programs are based on a participative methodology, the objective of which is to help parents to improve their relationships with their spouses and develop their child-rearing skills, in order to confront the daily challenges faced by families with confidence, flexibility and good humour.

Helping the “Third generation”, at Nove Fužine, Ljubljana.

Why volunteer? People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

Voluntary work in Hungary

The breathtaking countryside and gorgeous old-world cities have something for everyone. Yet even with the country’s economy on the rise, many Hungarians live in poverty and are in need of support and education. Oftentimes children and women are those most in need of assistance.

A fulfilling experience!

Project Vintgar

Project Vintgar consists of activities covering cultural and professional topics which foster the personal growth of every individual. Project Vintgar addresses two main issues that young women in Slovenia deal with: finding safe, quality, and affordable residences while completing their studies, and promoting a respectful attitude towards others thus enhancing one’s social skills. Vintgar not only provides accommodations, but also serves as a place where women of all generations, races, education, social status and political convictions can participate in academic, social, and service activities.
